We partnered with local government to invest $35 million to deliver 29 pocket parks across Melbourne.
On this page:
The pocket parks are a mix of new and existing parks and reserves that were underutilised, including old industrial sites, roads, and old assets that are no longer needed and can be repurposed.
These projects give those living in Melbourne's inner and middle suburbs much-needed green, open space for recreation and relaxation.
This investment in open space will provide social, health and well-being benefits for the community for years to come.
These projects also have a focus on being designed in a way that looks to increase shade and cool our local streets, helping combat Melbourne's increasingly hotter summers.
