About this walk
This historic walk is named in memory of Ralph Cornwall, a sawmill worker from Noojee with a passion for the tramway.
Enjoy a peaceful stroll following a 2.5km section of a historic timber tramway once used to haul logs out of the forest.
Stop and admire old timber tramway relics and interpretative signs on your way. Continue through beautiful, tall forests and across gullies covered in a thick understory of tall ferns. If you’re lucky you may spot lyrebirds, parrots or deer.
The trail ends at a serene spot on the Loch River perfect for a scenic rest at one of the picnic tables provided.
