About this picnic area
This open grassy site is on the banks of the Lerderderg River. Relax and enjoy the sounds of the river flowing past while the local birdlife call in the background.
Nolan's Creek Picnic Area features picnic tables and BBQ pits. Bring your own table or rug, as only a few tables are available. The picnic shelter near the front of the site can provide some shelter and shade on a hot day.
The picnic area is easily accessible along Lerderderg Road, making it a great place to stop while exploring the Wombat State Forest.
