About these trails
Mountain bike through stunning native bushland in the Wombat State Forest, considered one of Victoria's best places to ride. Located between Woodend and Daylesford, this area offers a fantastic experience for beginner riders through to serious cyclists.
Keep an eye out for local wildlife including wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas and snakes. You may also see wombats and their burrows on either side of the trails.
There are two loops which make up the trail and cater for different skill and fitness levels. Loop 1 is 9 km long and caters for beginner riders and children. Loop 2 takes the rider over the full 18 km course and is aimed at riders with a moderate level of fitness and skill.

There are 2 loops in this network. Loop 2 is the longer trail and will take up to a couple of hours to complete, providing a great opportunity to spend time in Wombat State Forest. Make sure you ride to your abilities.
