About this trail
Experienced mountain bikers looking for their next thrill will love the popular Hey Hey My My mountain bike track.
This 4km singletrack trail is just a short drive from the regional town of Warburton and about 1.5 hours from Melbourne. The adrenaline-pumping track offers a tough ascent with a flowy descent and generally takes a bit over 30 minutes to complete.
Get ready to climb
The ascent is a tough and steep climb, containing 35 switchback turns with loose, rocky off camber sections. The average grade of the climb is 8% with a length of 2.5km.
The descent is a fast and flowy singletrack, including A and B lines. Features include gap jumps, drops, rock gardens, berms, tight corners and steep sections, offering plenty of technical challenges for riders. The length of descent is 1.8km and is graded high blue with black diamond B lines.
Head to Warburton after your ride to refuel at one of the many cafes or restaurants, or continue your journey on the Warburton Rail Trail for a more leisurely ride along this historic railway through the beautiful Yarra Valley.
