About this campground
Woods Point is one of several campgrounds located within the Lower Snowy Camping Precinct, including Sandy Point, Long Point and Wall Track.
This is an expansive grassy site along the sandy banks with spectacular views of the Snowy River and plenty of options for camping and picnicking.
Water-based activities are some of the most popular ways to spend time here, including extended rafting trips along the Snowy. Fishing is also a popular activity, with the river renowned for Australian Bass.
Located only 30 minutes from Orbost, with moderate 2WD access, this site is an excellent choice for those looking to explore the diverse forest along the Snowy River without going too far from town.
