About this campground

This site is very popular with campers, fishermen, birdwatchers and outdoor enthusiasts. It is a great base for exploring the nearby goldfield history.

Camping at Skipworth Reserve offers a big open grassy area where you can soak up the sun. This spot is next to the Goulburn River, which allows you to relax whilst listening to the tumbling water as it flows by.

Bring your fishing rod along, with plenty of rainbow trout, brown trout and perch found in the Goulburn River.

With excellent access to the river, this site offers a great spot to put your canoe or kayak in and head out for a of day paddling.
