Mountain Dam Campground
Mountain Dam Campground is a picturesque site nestled in a native stringybark forest with views over the reservoir. It’s a great spot for people looking to relax or those up for a little more adventure with plenty of outdoor activities on offer.
The site has space for tent and vehicle-based camping, making it a good option for larger groups, and there are also some campsites hidden away if you’re after a quieter experience. Don’t forget to bring your camera and/or binoculars as this site is ideal for wildlife and bird watching.
A boat ramp is available at the site.
Mountain Dam Picnic Area
This picnic area sits near the mouth of Mountain Dam Creek. The natural bush setting and forest surrounds provide the perfect backdrop for those looking to enjoy a picnic or take a walk along the banks of the reservoir.
The picnic area is separate to the camping area and provides space for both small and large groups. The picnic shelter next to the carpark includes 2 picnic tables. More tables are available around the site along with some wood fired BBQs.
