About this campground
Little O’Tooles is a mid-sized campground with open areas suitable for camper trailers, as well as protected grassy areas for pitching tents.
The site contains several fire pits, picnic tables and a toilet, making it an ideal place for day visitors or campers to appreciate the natural beauty of Donnelly's Creek and the surrounding foothill forest.
The O’Tooles held a lease on the land in the early 1900s after the end of the gold rush that took place along Donnelly’s Creek of the 1860s. The land reverted to Crown land eventually and Little O’Tooles and O’Tooles became campgrounds in the mid 1980s.
Visitors can explore more of the area by continuing along the Aberfeldy Backroad 4WD Tour - Donnelly's Creek Loop.
