About this campground
Located on the banks of the Mitta Mitta River, this picturesque family-friendly campground is the perfect spot to get away and relax. The site is suitable for all types of camping and offers basic facilities including BBQs, firepits, picnic tables and a toilet.
The site is accessible by car and located only 15 km from the township of Mitta Mitta and 5 km from the township of Eskdale.
The site is named after Jack Swasbrick, who grew up on the Mitta Mitta River and had a great fondness for the area. He loved camping and could often be found at the previously informal campground around a fire with friends. Jack has since passed away, however his memory lives on through the naming of this campground.
