About this campground

A popular family camping area that also caters for day visitors, Huggetts Crossing is a great hub for exploring the Avon–Mount Hedrick Natural Features and Scenic Reserve. You can do this by foot along the Avon River or Mount Hedrick walking tracks or by 4WD on the Avon Crossing 4WD Tour.

The campground is nestled within native bushland on the banks of the Avon River and is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a few nights under the stars. Direct river access means it’s also a fun place to cool off in the warmer months.

Facilities include fire pits, picnic tables and a toilet. A separate day visitor area is also located at the start of the Avon River walking track.
