About this campground

Big Pats Recreation Area has a relaxed atmosphere and is a stone's throw from many of Warburton's tourist attractions. The site can be enjoyed as a day picnic area or overnight campsite close to Big Pats Creek. The site is dog friendly and the creek is brimming with brown trout and blackfish.

This recreation area is also the starting point for the Walk into History and Richards Curves Walk, which connects to the longer Richards Tramline Walk. Both walks follow historic timber tramways and can be done in their entirety or broken into shorter segments.

Please note, Big Pats has limited space and is often at capacity during peak periods.
