About this campground
Andersons Campground is a remote and compact bushland site in an open forest. Set back from the road, the site is located on a quiet bend in the Aberfeldy River.
This site is suited for smaller groups who wish to camp with camper trailers or tents. Fire pits, picnic tables and a toilet are available.
There is a rich mining history in the area with historic mining cuts and shafts scattered to the west of the campground.
The Toombon Historic Walk is located not far from the campground, showcasing some of the gold mining relics of the former Toombon township.
Visitors looking to explore more of the area can choose to follow the Aberfeldy Backroad 4WD Tour - Donnelly's Creek Loop where they will find an abundance of other campgrounds, huts and historic sites.
